Teaching Personnel is working with a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) provision in Leigh, supporting students aged 13 to 21. This unique setting offers an alternative route for students unable to access mainstream education. They are seeking a committed and compassionate SEMH Teacher to join their team from September, working Monday to Thursday. We welcome applications from: Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin a meaningful teaching career Experienced teachers seeking a fresh and rewarding challenge Teachers with a passion for inclusive education and resilience in the classroom The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold QTS or QTLS (NQTs/ECTs encouraged to apply) Have a passion for working with students with SEMH needs Be confident managing behaviour in a nurturing and structured way Be adaptable and open to teaching core or foundation subjects Be resilient, patient, and committed to inclusive education Be available Monday to Thursday, 08:30–16:30 Role Responsibilities: Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet diverse needs Supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development Collaborating with support staff and external agencies Creating a calm, supportive learning environment Promoting positive relationships and consistent routines All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
