No GMC restrictions or recommendations
Ambulatory shift expectations
1. Deal with NEWS 0-2 patients. If the patient is more complicated than expected handover to the EPIC and go to the next patient.
2. Do not get involved in Resus patients.
3. Aim to see a large volume of low acuity patients
4. Select your patients and not follow patients selected by Triage nurse for Ambulatory Majors
5. It is not mandatory to follow time order.
6. Liaise with NIC all the time.
7. Make use of the supporting nurse provided efficiently.
8. Please make use of CDU as much as possible.
Must Have:
ALS
ATLS
Need to have atleast 2 years of A&E experience working in NHS
