Michelin starred chef David Taylor restaurant Kynd, overseen by Head chef Alex Hardy is looking for a passionate driven sous chef or Junior sous chef to join the team.

Would you like to join a community focused, highly motivated and ambitious kitchen?

Kynd

* 40-50 cover restaurant set within the walled garden at Hampton Manor

* Ala Carte menu with a 5 course tasting menu

* Food focused around using the very most seasonal produce direct from farm.

* lots of cooking and prep techniques, this a kitchen about loving cooking.

Highlights of the sous chef role

* From £33,000 to 37,000 plus tips from £4000-£4500

* Being central in supporting, maintaining and developing the Kynd experience.

* Be a part of close, supportive team and under leadership that nurtures and develops.

* come to work on your craft, cooking, knife work, techniques, fermentation lots on offer to learn and grow

* Birmingham city centre is 15 minutes direct train ride while London is 1 hour 40 minutes direct train ride

* 4 day weeks

* Regular dish projects and inclusion on dish development

Kynd is situated in the walled garden at Hampton Manor. Our ethos and passion is built around the supporting the very best British farmers, taking the produce at its absolute peek. Kynd is all about our commitment to our land and seas by taking the very best when nature says and celebrating it with delicious flavour filled dishes.

Chef director, David Taylor oversees the offering alongside head chef Alex Harding and his team.

What we are looking for in a sous chef:

* You have worked at a restaurant for at least 5 years. Michelin or AA rosette level preferable however not essential.

* Ability at running a section and coping with high pressure environments

* Energetic, positive attitude and punctual

* Strong team ethic

* a love for your craft with a deep desire to learn more.

* Experience in leading people

* Experience in maintaining and developing routines

Pay: £36,500.00 per year inclusive of tips
