Salary: £25,000 - 57,000 per year Requirements: Minimum of 1 years experience in an IT support or Service Desk role Previous experience in a customer-facing environment Basic understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) and troubleshooting Good overall knowledge of IT systems and technical terminology Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Reliable, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive IT support within a retail environment, focusing on EPOS systems and related sub-systems Receive, log, monitor and respond to service requests via multiple communication channels Diagnose and resolve issues relating to till systems, peripherals and connectivity Troubleshoot hardware including printers, scanners and payment devices (PEDs) Escalate complex or high-priority incidents to internal and external teams in line with agreed procedures Follow up with end users to ensure issues are fully resolved Act as a customer-focused point of contact for internal users and relevant external parties Support ad-hoc IT tasks as directed by the IT Service Desk Team Leader or senior IT staff Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge as new systems and technologies are introduced Technologies: Hardware Support LAN Network More: We are Pertemps Recruitment, partnering with a leading retail organization to find an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our busy Incident Management team in Plymouth.
