Cover Teacher (Maths) with responsibility for support and intervention required for September 2026 – term time only, fixed term until 31 August 2027 (3 days teacher / 2 days cover).

This role provides a fantastic opportunity for recently qualified or experienced Maths teachers to establish themselves in the school environment. By taking on a timetable that combines hours of timetabled Maths teaching and hours of targeted intervention sessions and departmental support, you will gain invaluable experience across the 11-18 age range while fully participating in our professional development programme. Our cover teachers regularly secure permanent teaching posts and this is a great opportunity to play an integral part of a very successful Maths department.

Key responsibilities:

•Maths teaching hours

•In-class support with Year 9 to 11 classes

•Withdrawal of small groups

•Bespoke intervention for our EBSA pupils

Salary information: 15 hours timetabled teaching and 13 hours Cover Teacher (depending on the TMS/UPS point of the Teacher - salary range: £29,314 to £40,239 (M2 - U3)
