Key responsibilities include: Business Development & Market Engagement Originate new agency and trustee mandates through your established sponsor, fund and law firm network Execute a UK-focused BD strategy aligned with wider European growth plans Represent the firm at leading European conferences and industry events Transaction & Internal Collaboration Work closely with transaction management and operations teams across multiple European offices Support complex loan closings and ongoing mandates, ensuring a consistently high client experience Stay close to market developments to identify new opportunities and areas for innovation Leadership & Stakeholder Management Mentor and support a junior team member Participate in regular cross-border strategy discussions with senior leadership Provide structured pipeline updates and commercial insights to management About you Youre an established BD professional in syndicated lending, with a strong reputation and trusted client relationships.
