Paediatric Night Support Worker – Complex Care Shifts: 10:00pm – 8:00am, flexible across Monday to Sunday Experienced in night shifts and paediatric complex care? We want to hear from you. We are recruiting reliable, compassionate Night Support Workers to join a consistent care team supporting two young children with complex needs in their family home in Birmingham.You’ll be working on a 2:1 basis — one Support Worker per child — providing tailored overnight care in a calm and supportive environment. This is a permanent care package with a set rota .We are looking for people who are committed to working nights and who can cover the full shift pattern without day-only or restricted availability. What you’ll be doing: Providing overnight care for one child as part of a 2:1 team Completing regular observation and repositioning checks Administering medication and monitoring PEG site condition Responding to clinical or behavioural changes during the night Keeping clear and accurate documentation You’ll be supporting children who live with a brain disorder, epilepsy, global developmental delay, and other complex clinical needs — but who also have a strong sense of humour and a range of personal interests. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring their comfort and safety overnight.
