Key Responsibilities
* Plan and carry out audits to ensure they meet all regulatory standards.
* Review and evaluate audit workpapers to maintain compliance and quality.
* Prepare clear and detailed audit reports for clients.
* Develop audit programs to effectively assess risks and controls.
* Mentor junior team members and help them grow their skills.
* Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
* Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices in the industry.
* Work closely with teams to maintain smooth audit processes.
What We’re Looking For
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
* Professional certification (like ACA or ACCA) is preferred but not a must.
* 3-5 years of audit experience, ideally in public accounting.
* Familiarity with UK auditing standards and regulations.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office.
