Receptionist - Yorkshire Head Office We are looking for a professional, proactive, and self motivated Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our Head Office. This is a varied role where you’ll manage reception duties, provide administrative support across departments, and help keep the office running smoothly. Key duties/Responsibilities - Manage the reception and switchboard, screening and transferring calls, taking accurate messages Meet and greet visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience Maintain the Reception Operation file and keep telephone lists up to date and distributed Record annual leave on the electronic HR system Order and manage stock of stationery, kitchen, and office supplies Handle incoming and outgoing mail Provide general administration support: typing, data entry, photocopying, scanning, filing, etc Respond to callouts for lift, alarm, telephone, and photocopier issues Manage meeting rooms: calendar bookings, set up, and presentation Support IT equipment allocation, repairs, and collections Assist with fleet management, including servicing, valeting, and inspections Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and assist with ad hoc tasks Person specification - Previous experience in a similar receptionist position Excellent telephone manner and verbal communication Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure Accurate and efficient typing Personal attributes - Friendly, approachable and professional Highly self-motivated with a proactive mindset Able to think on your feet and use initiative We believe Harron Homes is a place for everyone, no matter where you come from, what you look like or how you identify.
