About Hadfab 👨 🏭
Hadfab is a growing, family-run steel fabrication company operating in a specialist sector with strong, long-term contracts. As we continue to expand our site and operations, we’re looking for an HSE Adviser to help drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.
The Role 🔧
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you’ll play a key role in reducing risk, ensuring legal compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across our workshops, yards, and sites.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be visible on the shop floor, supporting teams and making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities ✅
* Promote a positive health & safety culture across site 👷 ♂️
* Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and internal training 📋
* Support risk assessments, COSHH, and PPE management ⚠️
* Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations 🔍
* Maintain HSE systems and records (including Mango QHSE) 💻
* Assist with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 compliance 🌍
* Support wellbeing initiatives, including Mental Health awareness 💙
* Work closely with teams, contractors, and management
What We’re Looking For 🎯
* NEBOSH National General Certificate
* At least 3 years’ experience in an HSE role (ideally in manufacturing/engineering)
* Strong knowledge of H&S legislation
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach
* Organised, analytical, and a strong team player
* Knowledge of ISO 14001 / 45001 (desirable)
