We’re seeking a driven and proactive Paralegal to become part of our expanding team, supporting high-value and complex personal injury cases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in personal injury, RTA, or litigation who’s ready to take the next step into serious and catastrophic injury work.
In this role, you’ll work closely with senior solicitors on life-changing cases involving brain, spinal, orthopaedic injuries, and amputations. With comprehensive training, close supervision, and a tailored development plan, this is a fantastic chance to build a rewarding career in serious injury litigation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support senior fee earners in managing serious injury claims from initial instruction to resolution
* Draft legal correspondence, witness statements, and instructions to experts and counsel
* Liaise with clients, medical professionals, insurers, counsel, and rehabilitation providers
* Review and analyse medical records and expert reports
* Keep accurate and up-to-date records using our case management system
* Assist with coordinating rehabilitation and applying for interim payments
* Attend client meetings, case conferences, and court hearings as needed
* Conduct legal research and contribute to all stages of the litigation process
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum of 6 months’ experience in personal injury, RTA, or general litigation
* Strong understanding of the personal injury process and Civil Procedure Rules
* Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills
* Meticulous attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Confident using legal software and case management systems
* Experience supporting multi-track or serious injury claims
* Law degree and/or completion of the LPC or SQE (or currently studying)
* Keen interest in serious injury law and long-term career development
* Empathetic, professional approach when supporting vulnerable clients
