As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you’ll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately. With 40 en-suite bedrooms, a busy outpatients and pre-assessment departments. We also provide a diagnostic imaging service (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and X-ray), pathology, paediatric unit, surgical recovery ward, cancer care unit, 3 state of the art operating theatres and physiotherapy services. Our small and friendly imaging department offers a broad range of modalities and studies. We have a 1.5T Philips Ingenia widebore MRI scanner and an Aquilion Prime CT scanner. We also offer Mammography, Dexa, Fluoroscopy, Theatre, Ultrasound and general X-ray. Our MRI and general X-ray services run from 8-8 and so we offering 3 long days.
