Job Title: Flat Bed Laser
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flat Bed Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flat bed laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components in line with technical drawings and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate flat bed laser cutting machines (e.g., CNC laser cutters)
* Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD files, and job specifications
* Load and unload raw materials (sheet metal, stainless steel, aluminium, etc.)
* Adjust machine settings to ensure precision cutting and optimal performance
* Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment
* Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
* Monitor production output and report any issues or defects
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety regulations
* Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
