Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons that challenge and inspire pupils of all abilities.
* Plan, prepare, and assess coursework and examinations in line with national curriculum standards.
* Create a positive, structured, and collaborative learning environment within the classroom.
* Support the wider department in curriculum development and sharing best practices.
* Contribute to the academy's journey towards outstanding educational achievement.
What We Are Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
* A degree in English or a closely related subject.
* A strong understanding of the UK English curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a plus).
* Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
