About the Role
Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full:time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Leeds. The role is available from January.You will be an invaluable asset to the classroom, supporting the teacher and students to create a positive and effective learning environment. Requirements:
* A passion for working with children and a commitment to their well being.
* A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Teaching and Learning in Schools) is desirable, but not essential.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness for one)

* Teamwork: A collaborative approach to working with the class teacher and other school staff.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
* Providing one:on:one and small:group support to students with varying needs.
* Helping to create and maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Supporting students with their personal, social, and emotional development.
* Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of classroom resources and displays.
* Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress, behaviour, and development to the teacher.
* Implementing and adapting learning strategies as directed by the teacher.
* Supervising pupils during non:classroom times, such as break and lunch duties.
* Following school policies and procedures, with a particular focus on safeguarding.
* Attending relevant staff meetings and training sessions to support professional development.
