2nd Line Enterprise Risk Manager Location: London or Wellingborough 6 month fixed term contract If you're driven by the challenge of protecting an organisation from emerging risks while enabling strategic decisions, this role offers real impact. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to embed enterprise-wide risk frameworks, lead reporting, and support regulatory compliance. You’ll produce high-quality reports, manage a small portfolio of risk events and indicators, and contribute to thematic analysis. Collaboration is key: you’ll promote a risk-aware culture, champion the three lines of defence, and help embed systems like Xactium. This position suits someone confident working with senior stakeholders, able to take ownership of reporting and risk insights, and comfortable navigating large datasets and tight deadlines. This role will be based in either our Wellingborough or London office with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week. What you’ll do Develop and embed enterprise-wide risk management frameworks and systems Lead the production of high-quality risk reports and thematic analysis for senior committees Monitor risk exposure, track key indicators, and ensure regulatory compliance Work closely with the Chief Risk Officer to maintain accurate and timely reporting Promote a risk-aware culture and support business units through RCSAs and risk event reviews What you’ll bring Experience working with risk events, indicators, or reporting Strong report writing and analytical skills Exposure to risk systems or tools (e.g. Power BI) is beneficial A relevant degree or risk management qualification is beneficial but not essential Confidence working with senior leaders Comfortable navigating large datasets and tight deadlines JOIN THE FUTURE OF FAMILY BANKING.
