The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is a world-class event, rooted in Scottish tradition, offering audiences an experience like no other. Performed to a live audience of 230,000 each year on the iconic esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, the Tattoo showcases creativity through music, precision performances and dance from military and cultural acts from around the globe.

Duration:
Full time (35hrs Mon-Fri) standard week plus peak periods of event delivery incl. evening and/or weekend depending on event schedule.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Welcome and manage all visitors to the main office building, including sign in procedures, health and safety instructions and issuing access cards.
* Represent The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and contribute to the positive first impressions of brand.
* Maintain the appearance of reception and common areas throughout the building.
* Manage visitors until handover to their point of contact.
* Assist the coordination of post and deliveries.
* Order and manage basic office catering supplies.
* Coordinate the staff tuck shop and delivery of meals during event periods.
* Work closely with the Property Manager and IT team to ensure smooth running of all front of house areas.
* Provide administrative support to the Commercial team.
* Take meeting notes for All Company Updates.
* Additional Commercial & Hospitality-related duties during July and August, as required.
Event-related Duties:
* Handle enquiries and represent the company positively in interactions with all external parties.
* Coordinate the delivery of internal catering requirements, including but not limited to tea and coffee for meetings and light lunches for day activities.
* Assist with the coordination and delivery of external events, including room set-up as required, receiving deliveries to the venue, and coordinating external staff.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a front of house role.

* Excellent organisational skills.
* Good computer skills, in particular a working knowledge of MS Office.
* Good understanding of protocol and precedent.
