Job Title: CAD / Revit Technician- Building Regulations & Fire Remediation Location: Colchester Salary: £35-50,000 DOE About the company: A specialist planning and Building Regulations consultancy is seeking a CAD / Revit Technician to join its growing team. The company focuses on residential and commercial development, with an expanding portfolio in façade remediation and fire compliance projects across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes, supporting the delivery of fire remediation works while collaborating closely with design, compliance, and project management teams. Benefits Competitive salary (£35-50,000 depending on experience) Opportunity to work on high-profile remediation projects Career development within a growing consultancy Supportive and collaborative working environmentDaily Duties Produce detailed construction drawings and technical details using AutoCAD (Revit experience advantageous) Develop and coordinate façade remediation details, including cavity barriers, cladding interfaces, and fire stopping solutions Support the design team in delivering Building Regulations-compliant solutions Assist with the preparation of drawing packages for statutory approval and construction Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants such as architects, fire engineers, and contractors Maintain high standards of drawing quality, accuracy, and consistencyIdeal Candidate Strong experience using AutoCAD (Revit advantageous) Proven experience producing construction or technical drawings Good understanding of UK Building Regulations (particularly Part B desirable) Experience or exposure to façade remediation and fire compliance (preferred but not essential) Awareness of CDM / Principal Designer responsibilities Understanding of the Building Safety Regulator (desirable) Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team To apply, please contact KAZ on (phone number removed) OR alternatively, send your updated CV and Portfolio across to I hope to hear from you soon
