About the Role - As Finance Assistant you will support the smooth running of their busy operations by managing a range of finance and administrative tasks. You'll work closely with colleagues to maintain accurate records, handle queries professionally and support day to day financial processes, with full training provided to help you develop your skills. Duties of the Finance Assistant - Process a range of financial transactions, including purchase invoices, daily cash postings and credit card reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial data through effective data entry, record keeping and organised filing of invoices and statements. Carry out reconciliations, including sales ledger checks and supplier statement reviews, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Manage internal and external account queries, providing professional and timely responses. Provide support with banking tasks and general finance administration as required. Assist with credit control activities to help ensure smooth and efficient financial operations. Skills Required - Previous experience in finance is desirable but candidates with a strong administrative background will be considered Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Confident and professional communicator, able to interact effectively with colleagues and external contacts. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. Strong IT skills, including experience with accounting software and proficiency in basic Excel functions is desirable. Proactive, adaptable and keen to learn to help support financial and administrative processes. As Finance Assistant you will receive a salary of £26,000 - £27,000 per annum.
