Job Title: SLD Support Assistant – Complex Needs Provision Location: North Tyneside area Salary: £89–£103 per day (PAYE) Contract: Full-time, Long-Term Start Date: September 2025 Support that starts with understanding. We’re looking for a patient, caring and proactive Support Assistant to join a specialist all-through school supporting children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a range of complex needs—including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and sensory impairments. This is a setting built around individual care, communication, and connection. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team working closely with health professionals, therapists, and teaching staff to provide the consistency and support each child needs to thrive.
