Person specification for a maintenance engineer:

1. Time served Mechanical Engineer with a number of years experience in manufacturing
2. Minimum City and Guilds Part 1 and 2 in mechanical engineering
3. Good fitting skills with the ability to weld and fabricate, along with hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding experience
4. Experience of planned maintenance and continuous improvement/lean manufacturing
5. Well organised, self-motivated and capable of working to tight deadlines
