We provide support to a number of people living in their own homes within the Hansel Broadmeadows Estate in Symington. One of our services is the home to 3 young adults who require continuous care on a 1:1 basis throughout the day and higher levels of care. They are supported with every aspect of their daily living. The home is busy, vibrant and fun; you need to be creative and adaptable to ensure everyone is included and able to live their best lives.
You will work as part of a team, but be focused on one specific customer each day. All of these young people need private transport so must be able to drive to provide the support they need. Although the service is based within the Hansel estate, you will support people to be part of their wider community, to access local services and shops as well as attend classes and be involved in activities such as swimming, bowling and local groups.
People are also supported with all aspects of maintaining their homes, shopping, cooking, managing their money, taking care of their health and building relationships.
