Do you have a sense of adventure, and enjoy being out and about in nature? This job could be ideal for you
Youll be working on land surveys or underground utility surveys; using drill rigs to construct boreholes and water wells. And taking soil and water samples. A lot of the work will be on brownfield sites.
You could sometimes be up at 6.30am to drive to a site, then out in the rain all day; so if youre looking for a warm office 9-5 environment then this isnt for you (though you will also be in the office a lot of the time).
There will be projects to manage, and youll be dealing directly with clients.
Youll be able to use your problem solving skills. And youll have plenty of scientific data to work with and interpret.
You will get experience in site investigation, and remediation techniques.
Its a great opportunity to develop your career in the geotechnical engineering and contaminated land sector.
The business is an innovative consultancy providing a 'cradle to grave' Brownfield development service
Its a can do business, with the expertise of a large company, but the personal touch of a small one.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Other graduates have done well in the business, so they know what youll need. Youll get training in anything you havent done. When youre ready, youll be given the opportunity to manage your own work, and will have limited supervision.
