Job Title: Sales Manager – Medical Devices

Location: UK (National)

Salary: £60,000 basic + 20% performance-based bonus + Car Allowance

Reporting to: SVP Commercial (International)

Department: Sales


My client is a global medical device company that designs and manufactures innovative solutions to improve surgical outcomes and patient care. With a strong presence in the ENT and Ophthalmology markets, our products are trusted by healthcare professionals worldwide.


Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Manager to grow our ENT and Ophthalmology business across the European and ROW markets via a distributor model network. You will be responsible for managing a high-performing sales team, driving business growth, and developing long-term customer relationships.

This is a senior leadership role requiring a blend of commercial acumen, team leadership, and market knowledge in the medical devices sector.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop the European and ROW ENT and Ophthalmology sales teams.
* Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
* Motivate, coach, and support sales staff through regular performance reviews, training, and development plans.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target regions and customer segments.
* Maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and distributors.
* Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and senior management to align strategy and execution.
* Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs.
* Represent client at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.


Candidate Profile:

Essential:

* Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role within the medical devices industry.
* Experience in ENT and/or Ophthalmology markets.
* Experience dealing with Distributor networks
* Strong understanding of UK and European healthcare systems and procurement processes.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
* Commercially astute with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Willingness to travel frequently within Europe and ROW.


Desirable:

Additional European languages.


Compensation & Benefits:

* Basic Salary: £60,000
* Bonus: 20% of annual salary (based on performance targets)
