Salary: £33,952.77 £39,366.78 (actual)
Hours: 24 hours per week (3 days to be discussed at interview)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (44.67 paid weeks)
About the School
This specialist provision supports children and young people aged 719 with Autism and associated social and communication needs. With pathways from Key Stage 2 through to Post 16, the school provides a nurturing, structured and aspirational environment where every learner is encouraged to reach their full potential.
The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join a multi disciplinary team and play a key role in supporting the emotional, social and behavioural development of students.
In this role, you will:
* Complete psychological assessments and deliver tailored interventions
* Support young people to develop emotional regulation, resilience and independence
* Embed Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches across the school
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, families and external professionals
* Provide training, consultation and guidance to staff teams
* Supervise Assistant Psychologists
* Contribute to whole school wellbeing and development initiatives
Your expertise will directly influence the quality of care and support students receive, helping them thrive both in school and beyond.
What Were Looking For
* HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist - ESSENTIAL
* Postgraduate qualification in Psychology
* Experience supporting young people with Autism and complex needs
* Background in educational, clinical or care settings
* Strong multi disciplinary working skills
* Experience supervising Assistant Psychologists
* Commitment to evidence based practice and ongoing professional development
