Job Description
We are looking for a Supply and Allocation Planner to join the Logistics team. You will be the key in making the physical movement of goods match the allocation plan and alerting the business when the plan cannot be achieved. This role is the bridge between multiple departments so you will need the ability to build great cross-functional relationships along with the ability to manage and link large data sets together.
Key Responsibilities:
* Play an integral part in the weekly PSI planning meetings
* Allocating inbound stock to outbound orders based on the monthly allocation plan and customer orderbooks
* Track the inbound order progress to highlight any instances where slippages will cause risk in achieving the monthly sales plan
* Monitor customer orderbooks to ensure they are aligned with the allocation plan and work with the Logistics Planners to ensure customers receive the right stock mix
* Identify gaps in the orderbook where we do not have enough orders to meet the allocation plan
* Support IBP through protocol adherence and data maintenance
Key Skills:
* Advanced level of Excel and Microsoft Office required (XLOOKUPs and Pivots essential)
* Ability to work with large data sets and link data together in a dynamic way
* Be able to communicate across different departments in a clear, concise way
* Excellent attention to line level detail in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
* Experience of SAP preferred but not essential
