Supporting children aged 7–17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties

Your Role
1. Provide high-quality, consistent care and support to children aged 7 to 17
2. Work closely with your team to create a nurturing, safe, and structured environment
3. Support young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs
4. Promote positive routines, independence, and emotional well-being
5. Be a positive role model and help young people thrive
Shift Pattern & Salary
6. Hours: 8am – 8pm shifts
7. Contract Options: 36, 40 or 48 hours per week
8. Sleep-ins: 8–10 per month (as per rota)
9. Hourly Rate: £14.50
10. Sleep-in Rate: £52 per night
Overtime and additional shifts available

What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
24. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent recognised Level 3 qualification)
25. Experience working in residential childcare or a related field
26. Full UK driving licence
27. Minimum age: 21 (in line with Ofsted requirements)
Desirable:
28. Experience supporting children with complex emotional needs
29. A calm, consistent, and nurturing approach
