About The Role
Are you ready to embark on an exciting culinary journey? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Butlin's Buffet Department in beautiful Bognor Regis!
As a key player in our kitchen, you will report to the Senior Kitchen Manager and help lead a dynamic team of up to 40 passionate individuals. Your mission? To make our guests smile! You’ll ensure that they remain at the heart of every operational decision.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning, recruitment, and selection to build the best team.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to high standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
As a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, you’ll inspire your team through training schedules and performance development plans. You’ll have the chance to lead and nurture a talented team in our main buffet restaurant, serving guests who have booked a half-board dining package.
About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience in a similar role, or those eager to step up to the next level in their kitchen career.

* Qualified: You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
In addition, you’ll manage margins, control costs, and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards. Our chefs at Butlin’s are truly special, and we want someone who is not only skilled but also fun, eager to join in, and dedicated to ensuring our guests have a fantastic time, every time!
Typical working hours: You’ll work five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week, and enjoy the benefits of a bonus scheme. This is a unique opportunity to work in a kitchen environment without split shifts, typically finishing by 8 PM.
