About the role
We work with SEND Schools in York as a first port of call for their temporary, permanent, and cover needs for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants. All work is between Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm. Full-time roles are ideal, but part-time supply may be available for the right candidates.
Your daily routine will involve supporting pupils to make their time in school beneficial and productive, ensuring they are not displaying triggers or signs of unease. A nurturing, patient, and empathetic attitude is essential.

Requirements
To be considered, you should:
* Have recent experience (within the last 2 years) working with children or young people in a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play, or care setting.
* Be able to provide valid references from these roles.
All staff undergo thorough checks, including an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
