Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a dynamic, well-established Family Office to appoint an experienced Senior Investment Accountant. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a rare opportunity to step into a broad, hands-on role within a sophisticated investment environment, gaining exposure across multiple entities and asset classes while helping shape systems, controls and reporting from the ground up.
You will sit at the heart of the investment activity, taking full financial oversight of a portfolio of investee companies and structures. You will gain visibility across multiple asset classes, working closely with decision-makers and playing a key role in supporting strategic investment decisions.
The Senior Accountant responsibilities will include ownership of monthly management accounts, budgeting and cashflow forecasting, statutory accounts production and audit support. You will also oversee banking requirements, tax compliance and company secretarial matters, while contributing to enhanced reporting, KPI development and ongoing systems and process improvements.
The ideal candidate:
* A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / ACMA)
* Experience within multi-entity, investment, property or portfolio company environments
* Strong technical accounting and reporting capability
* Excellent Excel and systems proficiency
* Commercial awareness with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
* A proactive, driven individual who thrives in a high-accountability setting
