Job Purpose
You will play a critical role capturing insights, creating initiatives and providing direction for the development of products and services required to win in the coatings sector. This will include providing content and guiding the targeting and positioning of brands and promotional activities to meet sales and profitability goals in the target sector.
Job Responsibilities
• Implement strategic go-to-market models & translate strategy into initiatives.
• Build a thorough understanding of segment needs to create and implement needs-based Segment Marketing Plans.
• Oversee strategic marketing activities.
• Act as key interface for product portfolio management to underpin product, service & range development activities including feeding into NPI.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop customer, competitor and market insights to aid the development of winning value propositions & concepts.
• Monitor performance & adjust planning to maximise effectiveness.
Job Requirements
• Experience in more than one area of sales & marketing.
• Extensive experience working in commercial environment.
• Ideally a graduate in a scientific or marketing discipline.
• Used to working in a matrix environment.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

• Experience of working with different product & services groups.
• Background of working in P&L or with finance an advantage.
• Work experience in a technical/RD&I role is an advantage.
