At our Kilkeel Facility, we manufacture aircraft interior seating for global customers. To support our existing business and enable future growth we are offering a 12-month Industrial Placement opportunity to join a team dedicated to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team. The role will be based on site at Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.
What you will do:
Supported by our experienced team you will:
1. Work within a manufacturing environment to ensure conformity and continual improvement to our accredited energy, environmental and health & safety management systems: ISO 45001,ISO 14001& ISO 50001
2. Liaise with external auditors and regulators on environmental, health & safety matters
3. Support the EHS team with the running of our waste management contract
4. Promote EHS programmes, initiatives and awareness days across the business
5. Compile and provide reports including supporting the development of statistics, targets and objectives as required
6. Other duties as deemed appropriate

Skills and Experience Required:
This Industrial Placement opportunity is suited to you if you are passionate about a careers in Environmental Health & Safety. We will delight in training and supporting you during your placement which means you need to be a willing learner and committed to achieving both business and personal results whilst working as part of a team.
Essential Criteria:
In addition to the above you should be studying towards a degree or integrated Masters in Environmental Management, Engineering, Science, Business or other relevant discipline – with a significant EHS component - and be available to complete a 12-month placement commencing in June/July 2026.
You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have experience working within a team environment. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
Desirable Criteria:
Demonstrable and substantial experience working within an Environmental Health & Safety department.
