Responsibilities
The post holder will have a Consultant(s) allocated to them and will provide support for the MDT Coordinator. They will support the Team Leader Medical Secretary in the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service to a specialty team. This will involve management of, communicating appointment and admission related information to patients and carers and/or typing correspondence as appropriate.
This role is a medical secretary role and includes all office duties, typing letters, clinic alterations, answering telephone calls, using software packages such as Microsoft, Careflow, IPortal, along with other office based duties. This is not an exhaustive list of roles and responsibilities.
