As a Pre-sales Consultant at Asite, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our solutions are positioned and delivered to clients across the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) sector. Working closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams, you will act as a trusted technical advisor – translating complex client requirements into compelling solution designs that demonstrate the tangible business value of Asite’s platform.
This is a customer-facing role that blends solution engineering, sales enablement, and industry expertise. You will be instrumental in driving deal success, ensuring solution feasibility, and supporting the adoption of best practices in digital construction, Common Data Environments (CDEs), and ISO-compliant information management.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Discovery & Design:
* Collaborate with Sales to uncover and scope client requirements, aligning them with Asite’s capabilities.
* Design tailored solution architectures that address client pain points and align with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
* Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with Asite’s product roadmap.
Product Demonstrations & Technical Enablement:
* Deliver engaging, industry-specific product demonstrations that resonate with stakeholders across construction, infrastructure, and asset management sectors.
* Maintain and enhance demo environments to reflect evolving product capabilities and industry trends.
* Support internal sales enablement through training, onboarding, and creation of reusable assets (e.g., battle cards, playbooks, demo scripts).
Collaboration:
* Partner with Account Consultants and Technical Delivery teams to ensure seamless handover from pre-sales to implementation.
* Contribute to RFP responses, solution proposals, and bid documentation with a focus on technical accuracy and business relevance.
* Provide feedback to Product and Marketing teams based on client interactions and competitive intelligence.
Thought Leadership & Industry Alignment:
* Stay current on AEC digital transformation trends, ISO standards, and regulatory frameworks.
* Support the positioning of Asite as a leader in information management, BIM collaboration, and CDE solutions.
* Represent Asite at industry events, webinars, and client workshops as a subject matter expert.
Measures of Success:
* Conversion and win rates of supported opportunities.
* Quality, clarity, and relevance of solution proposals and demos.
* Feedback from clients, Sales, and internal stakeholders.
* Contribution to sales enablement materials and knowledge sharing.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* 3+ years in SaaS pre-sales, solution engineering, or sales enablement—ideally within the construction, infrastructure, or AEC technology space.
* Strong understanding of construction project workflows, BIM, and CDE platforms.
* Proven ability to deliver compelling, business-focused product demonstrations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience creating sales enablement resources (e.g., training decks, demo environments, playbooks).
Desirable:
* Familiarity with ISO 19650, information governance, and digital twin concepts.
* Experience with Asite or similar platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Trimble).
* Exposure to SaaS compliance frameworks and enterprise IT environments.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS business.
