Overview
AWC Staff Services are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of our client's Systems Operations Field service team. You will ensure effective delivery of PPM, Reactive calls and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Fire alarms, CCTV, Intruder alarms, access control and associated equipment and products to the relevant legislative and qualitative standards.
* Document and record activities in a timely and appropriate manner.
* Maintain appropriate documentation and records for PPM, reactive calls and Small Works.
* Attend and participate in company-initiated training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical aspects of the role.
Qualifications
* Experience in the Fire & Security Systems industry, with work in PPM, reactive calls and Small Works.
* Service test and inspection experience to relevant standards/codes, fault-finding techniques, and ability to follow Health and Safety requirements.
* Excellent communication skills and basic literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to work to high levels of Health and Safety requirements, in a similar role, and to carry out PPM, reactive calls and Small Works.
* Experience with RAMS, Accident Reporting, or Health and Safety legislation is preferred, with the ability to take initiative and work with little supervision.
