A premium audio technology business in Berlin is looking for an Electronics Engineer to take a vital role in the design and development of high-end audio products. If you excel in mixed-signal design where noise, distortion, robustness, and EMC compliance are non-negotiable, this project will suit you.
What you’ll do...
* Develop EMC-compliant analog and digital circuits for high-end audio equipment
* Optimize designs using circuit simulation (ideally LTspice)
* Select and qualify commercial off-the-shelf components with performance, cost, and availability in mind
* Define PCB layout specifications (grounding strategy, return paths, shielding, partitioning, decoupling, clocking/high-speed constraints) and create layouts for sensitive circuit sections
* Build, bring up, and intensively test prototypes, documenting results in a structured, engineering-grade way
* Create technical specifications and test concepts, support EMC measurements, and translate lab findings into actionable design improvements
What we’re looking for...
* Several years of proven experience designing low-noise, low-distortion analog and mixed-signal circuits, bonus in audio applications
* Strong practical knowledge of analog & digital circuit design and PCB technology
* Hands-on experience with EMC-aware circuit design
* Proficiency with simulation and eCAD tools (preferably LTspice and Altium Designer)
* Independent, structured working style and strong collaboration/communication skills
* Professional German and English for documentation and technical meetings
