The role

We are seeking a highly organized individual to join our busy Health Records team as Clerical Officer. We require 1 part-time (25 hours) Clerical Officer to provide admin/clerical/call handling support for the Out-Patient department, Queen Margaret Hospital. Monday to Friday; Monday – Friday: Part-Time 1200-1700.

Relevant admin/clerical/contact centre and reception experience is required as is the ability to prioritise and deal with the day-to-day workload in a busy, physically & mentally challenging environment. A knowledge of scanning, validating and auditing would be advantageous. The flexible working hours and a good understanding of filing and appointment systems is required. You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.

You should be educated to Standard Grade (or equivalent) with passes in English and Arithmetic. You must also have good keyboard/typing skills with the ability to work on your own initiative. Good organisational & listening skills are essential as well as a flexible approach to working. A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is required.
