Job Title: Lead Clinician
Location: Ashley Park School (Epsom) - Surrey KT18 7LR
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience - plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £1,500 after completion of one month and one further payment of £1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's Apply)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)
We are a multidisciplinary clinical team within Outcomes First Group, delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles of need, including autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH. The post holder will work with the school's Senior Leadership Team and the Regional Clinical Lead, split between leading the team and holding a therapy caseload, and will coordinate line management and service development of the school-based clinical service.
Location details: Ashley Park School forms part of our Options Autism brand, an independent specialist day school for young people aged 8 - 16.
Responsibilities
* Manage the in-house Clinical Team at Ashley Park School and lead on the development of the school-based clinical service.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need, aligning with EHCP targets and Outcomes First Group clinical ways of working (all, group, and individual).
* Provide line management and supervision to onsite clinical staff and collaborate with the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Work clinically to maintain a person-centred, safeguarding-focused approach that prioritises pupil outcomes and independence.
* Engage with ongoing professional development, supporting research, special interest groups, and the broader clinical network.
Essential Criteria
* Recognised degree
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., HCPC & RCOT)
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing for clinical and research activities
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service
* Experience of multi-professional work within the designated specialty (preferred)
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
