NPFDU FOI Referral Officer and Trainer
Location: Near Fareham
Salary: A GBP 35,526 : A GBP 37,692 per annum
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time Monday : Friday with flexible office hours

The Police are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the National Police Freedom of Information and Data Protection Unit (NPFDU) as a FOI Referral Officer and Trainer.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to work within a national policing unit, supporting police forces across the UK with FOI requests and the development and delivery of FOI training to shape FOI best practice across policing.
Skills and Qualifications
* Educated to Level 3 with a nationally recognised Learning and Development qualification e.g. Learning and Development QCF Level 3 (30 Credits min)
* Alternatively, an apprenticeship route is available to achieve a formal training qualification.
* Significant experience of working within a multi:functional organisation and able to demonstrate current competence in subject matter area.
* Experience of conducting research and applying legal principles using a variety of sources.
* Experience in training needs analysis, design, delivery, assessment and evaluation of training.
* Experience of innovative and creative approaches to problem solving
* Experience in communicating complex issues to a variety of stakeholders and producing written reports
* Experience in working independently and possessing good time management skills
