About the Role;
North Scout are supporting a successful Digital Agency based near Leeds in their search for a part-time Operations Lead. This is a newly created role to support the smooth running of the business and work closely with the Directors and wider team.
The role is broad and varied – you’ll be handling People ops admin, recruitment coordination, onboarding, contracts, and helping to improve internal processes. It’s a great opportunity to shape how things run behind the scenes as the company continues to grow.
The team are looking for someone local to Leeds, highly organised, approachable, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities with autonomy. The role is hybrid, with occasional in-person time required.
Key Responsibilities;
* Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day people ops administration.
* Support recruitment activity – posting job ads, scheduling interviews, liaising with candidates.
* Maintain and manage key documentation – employment contracts, contractor agreements, NDAs, SOWs.
* Help automate or streamline existing manual processes across the business.
* Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
* Provide general operational support to the Directors and wider team.
What We're Looking For;
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Previous experience in Operations, People Ops, HR Coordination, office management or similar.
* Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
* Comfortable working independently in a hybrid setup.
* Friendly, proactive, and adaptable – someone who enjoys helping a business run smoothly.
* Based within easy reach of Leeds – some in-person time will be required.

This will be a permanent role initially on a part-time basis, pro rata salary based upon hours contracted - to be discussed.
For example, this person could work 9.30 - 2.30pm, a few times a week.
