Job Summary
We are seeking a committed GP to join our established, supportive practice as a Salaried GP with a view to Partnership or as a GP Partner. The post offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care, practice development, and strategic leadership within a large, experienced multidisciplinary team.
The advertised post is 6 sessions per week (negotiable). Salary is dependent on experience and includes a competitive NHS pension, GMC fees paid, top‑up indemnity insurance paid, BMA‑guideline annual leave, CPD time, and flexible working arrangements.
Main duties of the job
* Provide general medical services to patients
* Manage acute, chronic, and preventative care
* Conduct face‑to‑face, telephone, and online consultations
* Contribute to QOF, enhanced services, audits, and practice development
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
* Maintain accurate, timely clinical records

Job responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
* Make yourself available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
* Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self‑referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
* Assess the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
* Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
* Refer to other care providers as appropriate.
* Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
* Collect data for audit purposes.
* Compile and issue computer‑generated acute and repeat prescriptions, avoiding handwritten prescriptions whenever possible.
* In general, undertake all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
* GMC registration with licence to practise; inclusion on NHS GP Performers List.
* Strong clinical and communication skills.
* Team‑working ability.
Desirable Qualifications
* UK GP experience.
* Interest in teaching, training, or service development.
* Clinical special interests.
