Position Summary
We are seeking a Market Analyst for a 7-month maternity leave cover to support various activities within Group Marketing. This role supports market insight and strategic planning by delivering regular analysis across the Automotive, Aerospace, Energy, Industrials, and Medical sectors. The analyst will gather and interpret data, contribute to market forecasts, and support the Voice of Customer program.
Responsibilities
* Provide monthly and quarterly market insights and forecasts.
* Analyse internal and external data to identify trends and opportunities.
* Prepare concise reports and presentations for business stakeholders.
* Support segment managers with targeted market data.
* Contribute to Voice of Customer analysis and reporting.
* Monitor macroeconomic and industry developments.
* Use Excel, Power BI or similar tools to manage and visualise data.
Education, Experience And Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in market research, ideally in an industrial setting.
* Proven experience leading research projects and interpreting data.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills; confident handling complex datasets.
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is an advantage.
* Experience supporting strategic and commercial initiatives.

Level Of Authority: The job holder may also be asked to perform other duties not strictly laid out in this job description, mainly supporting the Marketing department. Instruction must be authorized and given by the immediate supervisor.
