JOB ROLE - Head of Engineering Location: Ludlow (Hybrid) Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 bonus benefits This is your opportunity to lead the technical evolution of a fast-growing SaaS platform used by over 350 institutions globally. As Head of Engineering, you’ll guide a high-performing engineering team in delivering an AI-first product suite that’s transforming the education and event tech space. You’ll report into the North America CEO, playing a strategic leadership role with full oversight of engineering, delivery, and innovation across a distributed team. RESPONSIBLITIES: Leading the engineering roadmap for a mission-critical SaaS platform in the education and events sector Partnering with Product to define and deliver scalable, secure, high-performing features aligned to global strategy Driving modern DevOps and CI/CD practices for reliable, test-driven delivery Developing and growing an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture grounded in accountability and innovation Mentoring tech leads and developers while scaling the platform for North American growth Representing the engineering function in stakeholder discussions including clients and partners Promoting security, platform resilience, and industry-standard compliance at every layer SKILLS: You’re a strategic engineering leader with hands-on technical know-how and a track record of building SaaS platforms at scale in a product focused environment. You’ll be confident balancing product priorities with technical integrity and enjoy leading high-trust, agile teams.
