Hospital Waitress/Waiter | Spire Murrayfield Hospital | Edinburgh | Hospitality experience desired | £24,667.50 per annum
Spire Murrayfield Hospital are looking to recruit a Hospital Waitress/Waiter to join their fantastic and dedicated team on a permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To work in close liaison with the clinical staff, understanding the special needs of the hospital on a day to day basis
2. To be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the equipment provided, checking for faults and supply shortages and reporting them to the line manager
3. Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations including COSHH
4. Work with guidance on moving and handling, as identified in corporate and local policy and discussed at Mandatory training sessions.
5. Quality assurance and patient confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
6. Using your previous waitressing / waiting experience, you will ensuring meals and beverages are delivered to patients’ rooms
7. Responding to any ad-hoc requests from patients to ensure their comfortable stay
8. Assisting the catering and housekeeping teams with day-to-day duties

9. A customer service-focused approach
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Previous experience in hospitality
12. Able to work as part of a team
13. Willing and able to complete mandatory training for COSSH, Manual Handling, Infection Control and Health & Safety in-house
