Job Title: Primary Teacher
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm including 1x 5pm finish

Due to growth in our service, we are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join our wonderful team at New Barn School located in Newbury!

Job Summary and Duties
Working as a Primary Teacher for New Barn School, you will deliver fun educational based learning tailored to each of our pupils to ensure they achieve positive results.
The role will be challenging but rewarding, working in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference. You will lead teaching and coordinate flexible, person-centred programmes of study for individuals and groups of pupils. A practical, hands-on approach to teaching is essential, along with a willingness to go above and beyond for the young people we support.
Duties will include:
* Teaching a varied range of subjects
* Preparing, planning, and assessing teaching sessions while maintaining awareness of curriculum developments
* Writing and implementing individual education plans, making assessments of educational attainment, and setting challenging yet achievable targets
* Building relationships with all young people to encourage their interest and participation in education
* Creating a stimulating and purposeful environment outside formal classroom settings to promote teaching and learning
Key Skills Required:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching a range of subjects at Primary Level, delivering teaching at a good or outstanding level
* Knowledge of current education issues related to practice, process, and curriculum
* Experience working within an SEN setting, supporting pupils with challenging behaviour (SEMH/EBD)
