During your 12 month internship, you will dive into the vibrant sales environment, where you’ll run a select group of customers. Working closely with our sales team to optimise our go‑to‑market strategy and increase order intake. You’ll ensure it delivers on value, efficiency, and footprint. Providing an excellent chance to develop your skills to manage sales targets and priorities, engage with customers to influence their short, medium, and long‑term buying and business strategies. We offer a combination of office‑based work and face‑to‑face meetings with customers and internal business units.
How You’ll Make An Impact
* Demonstrate ability to organise, prioritise and handle multiple tasks and concurrent projects/orders.
* Assist the completion of on‑time project/order deliveries for a wide range of transmission products.
* Support the management of local subcontractors and overseas factories from order through delivery up to handover in accordance with the client schedule and quality requirements and always ensuring strict adherence to client & Siemens Energy EHS requirements.
* Collaborate with finance/commercial team on a regular basis to ensure accurate reporting of financial/commercial metrics.
* Identify and follow up on potential opportunities, variations and risks.
* Use and make available to others knowledge assets to optimise the proposed solution and project costs.
What You Bring

* Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Project Management or Business.

Our team is an integral part of the Grid Technologies, tasked with the representation and distribution of Siemens Energy Products throughout the UK and Ireland. We are strategically positioned in Newcastle to effectively manage and support our operations across these markets, as well as teams in Manchester.
