Job Opportunity: Defined Benefit Pensions Consultant / Client Manager
Due to the sustained growth of our award-winning client, there is a rare opportunity for a Defined Benefit Pensions Consultant / Client Manager to join their Edinburgh office. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of schemes and report to Edinburgh, with a flexible/hybrid work model and options for part-time work.
This role is ideal for an experienced consultant looking to work with an industry leader or someone with a strong technical background seeking to advance from administrative roles into consultancy.
Key Requirements
1. Previous technical senior defined benefit pensions experience
2. Experience in client management within pensions
3. Technical knowledge of pensions administration, scheme rules, and legislation
4. Ability to communicate knowledge clearly and concisely
5. Professional qualifications such as PMI are desirable but not essential
Responsibilities
1. Manage a portfolio of clients, liaising with Trustees, Actuaries, and external parties
2. Exceed client expectations and act as an ambassador for the business
3. Contribute to the success of the team through impactful daily duties
