Executive Business Manager to the Chief People & Culture Officer\n Contract Type: Temporary (6 months)\n Location: Hybrid (1 day a week in London Office)\n Daily Rate: £192 - £231\n\nAre you ready to take on a pivotal role in advancing the People & Culture strategy of a leading charity. We are seeking an Executive Business Manager to support the Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO) for a six-month secondment. This unique opportunity will allow you to contribute to the delivery of strategic objectives while gaining invaluable insights into the alignment of People & Culture initiatives with broader organisational goals.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCollaborate closely with the CPCO, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their portfolio and its complexities.\nPartner with the CPCO's Executive Assistant to manage schedules and upcoming commitments effectively.\nAutonomously undertake projects, demonstrating sound personal judgement within set parameters.\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with the Executive Team, Board of Trustees, CEO Office, senior managers, colleagues, and employee representatives.\nDevelop draught documents and materials to support the CPCO's initiatives.\nWork with the People and Culture Senior Leadership Team to ensure the successful delivery of strategic objectives.\nHandle complex and sensitive issues with discretion, seeing them through to resolution with minimal guidance.\nProvide expertise to enhance directorate processes and improve ways of working.\nAssist the CPCO in internal meetings, including research, pre-briefing, and follow-up actions.\nTrack and report on key deliverables, ensuring timely alignment and engagement across the organisation.

To excel in this role, you will need:\n\nHigh personal integrity and a commitment to openness and honesty.\nProven experience in building trust and effective relationships with Executive Team members.\nAbility to navigate complex stakeholder environments and sensitive situations with discretion.\nAutonomy in managing multiple priorities and tasks.\nCapability to work under pressure and meet pre-determined deadlines.\nStrong planning and organisational skills to balance competing demands.\nAbility to influence and secure commitment from diverse stakeholders.\nKnowledge of organisational development and strategic planning processes.\nProficiency in analysing data and identifying trends.\nStrong judgement skills for critical appraisal of complex information.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
