Our client, a leading force in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Communications Integration Engineer to join their team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of maritime defence technology at Portsdown Technology Park, Portsmouth. Key Responsibilities: Reviewing designs and validating system requirements to produce test documentation. Creating and executing test plans and schedules, contributing to test strategy decisions. Collaborating with various departments, customers, and subcontractors to integrate technology into broader systems. Identifying and resolving technical issues by utilising personal expertise or consulting with colleagues. Producing clear and concise project documentation tailored to various stakeholders. Job Requirements: Engineering background with an understanding of requirements capture, integration planning, and testing. Experience in communications within industry or the Armed Forces. Familiarity with the operation and integration of equipment within communication systems. Ability to work collaboratively within teams and exhibit self-motivation. Knowledge of communication systems. Capability to work with stakeholders and conduct demonstrations for customers. Qualifications: Degree level qualification or equivalent experience. This role is 37 hours per week and is on-site 5 days per week at Portsdown Technology Park, Portsmouth.
