This key role is structured to ensure that you can develop the required skills in whatever future career paths you may pursue. You will assist management in ensuring that through the excellent delivery of individual learning plans, Achieve's maths students continue to develop and excel.
Key day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing, planning and delivering individually tailored learning plans for students who are highly motivated to become more confident learners. A full transition handover and training will be provided.
An engaged and passionate individual, you will demonstrate a keen interest, not only in your specialist subject, but also in imparting your valuable knowledge to students, who are equally eager to learn.
Successful candidates will also help to maintain the centre's excellent reputation in supporting students of all abilities to become confident learners and improve their academic results.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proactive organisation, time-management and planning skills are required for this role.
* Excellent language, numeracy, literacy, IT and interpersonal skills are also required as you will be working as part of a small, dynamic team, and will interact with existing staff and learners at the centre, who will cover a range of ages and come from a variety of backgrounds.
* A strong interest in maths with ideal candidates possessing strong passes in maths at GCSE & actual or predicted A Level.
Additional Information:
Applicants should be able to commit to work until at least the end of the academic year 2025/26.
